Holistic doula support serving Brantford and greater area.

Someone to mother the mother.

Whether you're looking for guidance, reassurance, or simply someone to hold your hand, a doula can be a comforting presence that helps you feel more confident and empowered throughout your perinatal journey. Birth requires love, protection, and support. It is my passion to intentionally support women on their sacred journey of childbirth.

a sister to walk alongside you.

There are many ways that a doula can support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Birth is a sacred rite of passage that requires safety and support.

Pregnancy

Doula support for pregnancy entails providing women with emotional and informational support throughout their pregnancy, addressing their questions and concerns, and offering guidance on self-care, birth preparation, and decision-making. Doulas strive to foster a sense of empowerment, confidence, and well-being for women as they navigate the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy.

Birth

Doula support for birth involves  continuous emotional and physical support and informational guidance to mothers and their families throughout the birthing process. Doulas aim to empower and advocate for women, offering personalized care and helping create a positive, gentle, sacred, and physiological birth experience.

My mission is to walk alongside women during their birth by creating a safe space for them to connect with their primal being during her birth.

Postpartum

Postpartum doulas also offer support in the early weeks or months after birth, providing practical assistance, emotional support, and guidance as families navigate the challenges of newborn care, help and guidance preparing nourishing meals for the new mother, breastfeeding, and adjusting to their new roles as parents. Resting and healing during the postpartum period is crucial for the physical recovery and well-being of the mother. The first 40 days after birth are the most important to rest, heal, and nourish.

Mads & her mission

Hi momma, I'm Mads

A birth nerd, photographer, prenatal movement instructor, tallow making, and wanna be homesteader.

I am a woman on a mission to bring birth back home with sovereignty and trust in women's divine physiology. I approach birth with a traditionally holistic approach, and I believe birth is a beautifully curated physiological event that requires safety and protection. Birth is not a medical event, and should not be treated as one. My beliefs are that birth works best when it is undisturbed and unaltered. Women were built for this moment and relearning this is important to awaken the primal feminine wisdom that is within every single woman.

It is my souls purpose to walk with women in this realm, and when I am supporting women, I support them as if they are I'm sister. The perinatal world can be heavy and my mission is to help carry that weight while I support you and your growing family during on one of the most rewarding and sacred journeys of your life.

Xx,

Mads

“We are so blessed to have had Madison as our doula for the birth of our baby girl! She truly was such an amazing support throughout my entire pregnancy and birth - for both myself but also my entire family. She was such a huge advocate for me and extremely supportive through every decision we made. When my birth didn't go as planned, she made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was going to be perfectly okay. We couldn't thank Madison enough for her support throughout this journey. She will forever be such a huge part of our lives.”
